Skinny Frosé (Frozen Rosé)

6.8K

Since 90 degree weather has already begun to pop up across Texas (and several other states), we are sharing one of our favorite cocktails for Summer. It’s frozen, pink, and really fun to drink! 🙂

Frosé, or “Frozen Rosé”, is the perfect cocktail for the hot days ahead, and the sweet taste of Rosé by the pool or outside on the patio with friends and family is the perfect way to celebrate Summer.

We use our favorite Rosatello Rosé since it is sweet and full-bodied, so the flavor stays well when frozen. Lots of other Frosé recipes available add in sugar, calorie dense lemonade, more alcohol or fruit mixes. So, we decided to keep our version as “skinny” as possible by using zero calorie Sparkling ICE Lemonade in order to add no additional sugar or calories (yay!).

What You Need

*Recipe makes approximately 4 medium cocktails.

2 bottles Rosé (1 cup + 24 frozen Rosé ice cubes)

1 cup Sparkling ICE Lemonade

2 Ice Cube Trays

Fresh strawberries (for garnish)

Blender (If you are looking for a new blender, we highly suggest the Nutri Ninja Pro. It is budget-friendly and can pretty much do anything you need it to.)

Step by Step

1. Fill two ice cube trays with Rosé and let them freeze overnight.

2. Fill a blender with your frozen Rosé ice cubes, 1 cup Sparkling ICE Lemonade, and 1 cup Rosé.

3. Blend until ice is no longer chunky, but be sure not to overblend. Only a couple of seconds are needed, or use the pulse option until the mixture is smooth.

4. Divide your Frosé mix between 4 glasses ? , and garnish with fresh strawberries ? .
