Just as pumpkin spice flavors flood our social feeds, certain flavors and cravings hit when the weather changes. For us, right now, it’s “Turtle” season. We have seen so much love for this recipe that we had to re-post it and give it a make-over, of course! 💅🏻😉

As you know, we love turtle chocolates. You know, those classic pecans drizzled with caramel and enrobed in chocolate that are perfectly bite sized!? 🍫🍪 We can’t imagine anything more delicious than a chocolate turtle candy…until now!

These Turtle Cookies combine our love for both turtle chocolates and chocolate chip cookies. They are a great addition to your recipe Rolodex, and will blow your guests away.

We chose the base as our signature Best Damn Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, added pecans and caramel bits, and it resulted in happiness. 🥰🤤

What is great about this recipe is you can easily mix it up by adding your favorite add-in (walnuts, pretzels, etc.) Throw them in and make this cookie your own!

Well, don’t just stand there! Go grab your silicone baking mat and pan and let’s bake! 👩🏼‍🍳🧑🏼‍🍳

Things to Know Upfront/Quick Tips

  • These will bake pretty fast, so keep an eye on them to ensure they don’t over bake/burn!
  • If you want less flat/thicker cookies, place the dough or formed balls in the refrigerator for at least an hour before baking.
  • You will need caramel chips or bits. You can find generic brands at the grocery store or get the Kraft brand here.
