We’ve been told by several people that we can’t survive on just sugary treats (booo! 👎🏻)…that we need things like protein and fiber…and vitamins. Whatever. Well, good news. We have a quick and easy option to add to your holiday menu to break up the sugar and add some healthy nutrients. Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips are the snack that still tastes like a treat! 🤗

A recipe that fills your entire home with the aroma of sweet cinnamon is a winner in our book. But, add in the fact that it’s delicious (and healthy…what!?)…you have our hearts. ❤️

These Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips also happen to involve the best holiday flavors including sweet gala apples (or any apple of your choice), cinnamon and sugar. We swapped the sugar for Stevia, and you don’t even notice the difference to be honest. It’s easy, sweet and the perfect snack to bake and keep on hand for when you want a quick snack that brings some serious flavor and crunch.

Keep that energy up, babes! We have more holiday treats to enjoy. 🎄🥰 Season’s Eatings to you and yours!

What You Need

2-3 large Gala or Honeycrisp apples (or any apple of choice)

2 Tbsp ground cinnamon

2 Tbsp Stevia

Mandolin apple slicer

Step by Step

1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Combine cinnamon and Stevia together and set aside.

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Slice each apple using a Mandolin on the 1 or 2 setting, starting at the base of the apple. If you don’t have a slicer, you can also use a sharp knife. Just slice as thin as you can. The thicker they are, the less crisp they get. So, thin is best!

4. Sprinkle each slice with cinnamon and sugar mixture. We sprinkled only one side (trust us…it’s more than enough).

5. Bake for 45 minutes, then flip each slice and bake for another 20 minutes (or until browned and crispy).

6. Store in airtight container for up to a week.
