Cheers to the holidays and the first day of December, babes! ? We are officially kicking off all things holiday, starting with this post. We have so many fun things to share with you this month, so be sure to keep checking back on the blog for the latest festivities. With that said, let’s get right into it…
When we think of Christmas time, of course cookies come to mind. And, don’t worry. We have some great holiday cookie recipes to share with you on the blog this month. But, before we get heavy into the baking blog posts, we wanted to share a quick and easy way to feel festive this holiday season. Something that pairs perfectly with a warm plate of cookies. Well…yes, milk. But, we are thinking something more chocolate. Something that will warm you up on a cold winter night. That’s right…hot chocolate! But, not just any hot chocolate. Skinny Hot Chocolate! Because…the holidays. ?
Hot chocolate is life. No if’s or but’s about it. We could drink hot chocolate all year round (which may or may not be something we actually do). Now that we are experiencing colder weather, it is essential to have hot chocolate mix on hand to enjoy a warm cup under a warm blanket. Doesn’t that sound so cozy? Since the holiday season is already packed with higher calorie indulgences, we love this recipe for Skinny Hot Chocolate because it hits the spot when you need it but without all of the calories and sugar.
All you need is 5 minutes to whip up a batch of this homemade Skinny Hot Chocolate mix. The best part is you can store it for easy instant hot cocoa anytime of day. Simply scoop out 2 generous Tbsp of mix and add to your favorite mug. Pour in 1 cup of boiling water, throw in some marshmallows if you wish, and you have instant hot chocolate! This mix is so easy to make and it also makes great homemade gifts for your friends and family. ?
P.S. Stay tuned for a fun craft featuring this easy Skinny Hot Chocolate Mix later this month on the blog! 🙂
