Updated December 2023
Christmas has come and gone, and the New Year is almost upon us. We love the opportunity that New Year’s Eve gives us to gather with friends and family to celebrate another trip around the sun. But, if we are all honest with one another, New Year’s Eve is all about the bubbly. 🙂
By now, we’re sure most of you are making plans for how you are going to ring in the New Year. So, however you decide to pop the cork, be sure to add these glamorous and classic Champagne Jell-O Shots to your list of festive bites to share with friends and family. We’ve updated our recipe and instructions based on feedback from all of our amazing followers and to give it a refresh! These bite sized treats will dazzle your guests and are easy to create. You can use any champagne you want, or a sparkling wine or prosecco will work as well. We used our family favorite, Martini & Rossi Asti Sparkling Champagne. It has a very sweet taste, so it worked perfectly for these. So, grab a bottle and cheers to the New Year!
Things to Know Upfront/Quick Tips
- Grab a bottle (or two) of your favorite champagne (sparkling wine or prosecco will work too).
- Select a festive topping for the Jell-O shots, like sprinkles or a colored coarse sugar (We made our own mix of gold and silver sanding sugar and some gold stars).
- You can either make these in a 9×9 baking dish and then cut into squares OR you can use a silicone ice cube mold to then pop them out of.
